As a journalist-turned-public relations consultant, I champion organizations to new heights with creative strategies that advance their mission. I’m passionate about building narratives with authenticity while growing relationships that keep people connected. I’m big on alignment, whether we’re talking strategy or values. I’ve spent my career sharpening my skills as a storyteller while the industry chases its tail. Prior to launching Meg Mathis Consulting, I led communications for a nonprofit organization, developed content strategies for a public research university, edited a luxury lifestyle magazine, and launched the social media program for an iconic hotel. On the freelance side, I’ve penned everything from articles to advertising copy for a variety of publications and brands. Ask me about my portfolio!

After writing my way through cities like Chicago, Miami, and my native Detroit, I live by the golden rule in Charleston, South Carolina, with the ultimate sidekick: Lilly, my once-in-a-lifetime rescue dog.
